Local Projects - 2026

On the weekend of February 13–15, 2026, a seminar took place. It was led by theater educator Burak Baygören.

The seminar focused on anti-Alevi racism, meaning discrimination and exclusion of people who are Alevi. We discussed what racism is and how it develops. We also learned about different forms of racism and how they manifest.

In addition, we talked about various “-isms,” referring to attitudes or ways of thinking in which people are treated unfairly because of their background, religion, or other characteristics.

Around 20 to 25 young people participated in the seminar. Together, we discussed these topics and shared our thoughts and experiences.

Zeig, wer du bist

10.–12. April

A weekend dedicated to creativity, movement, and building new connections. Participants got to know each other through engaging group activities, shared many moments of laughter, and ended the evenings together around a campfire.

Through a variety of workshops ranging from theatre to energetic African dance sessions, participants learned new movements, developed their own choreographies, and fully embraced the experience of working and creating together.
